The primary purpose of NATWC is to support the establishment and continuation of therapeutic wilderness camping organizations; with the attendant responsibility to educate the public as to the existence of such organizations and their success in helping troubled young people change their lives for the better.

The National Association of Therapeutic Wilderness Camping invites you to join us for our annual training conference, which will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.

CALL FOR PRESENTERS/PAPERS: We are seeking presenters for our 17th annual conference.  Workshops begin Monday, September 20 and end on September 21.  Workshops will be one hour in length (longer times available by combining sessions). Workshops should be related to the National Wilderness Counselor Certification including topics related to clinical programming, adventure-based counseling, wilderness skills, staff development, recruiting, program management, experiential and group activities, and more.   Be creative!

We are excited to hold our annual conference in this beautiful facility surrounded by the exciting city of Nashville.  Nashville International Airport (BNA)  is a relatively short flight from most of the US, making the NATWC Conference a “must” on your 2010 list.
