The primary purpose of NATWC is to support the establishment and continuation of therapeutic wilderness camping organizations; with the attendant responsibility to educate the public as to the existence of such organizations and their success in helping troubled young people change their lives for the better.

NATWC to Attend IECA

Sandy Schmiedeknecht, NATWC Secretary, will represent the National Association of Therapeutic Wilderness Camping at the Independent Educational Consultants Conference this week in Charlotte, NC. Sandy will attend the Therapeutic Swap Meet on Friday at the Westin Charlotte.

Sandy will be available throughout the conference to introduce NATWC to non-members. NATWC is offering a special membership for Educational Consultants and Sandy will be at the conference to let you know all about it.

Stop by the NATWC booth at the Swap and chat with Sandy and while you’re there look for the other NATWC members who will be in attendance at IECA: Linda Tatsapaugh, Talisman Camps; Steve Cockerham, ETSU; Jeff Holloway, Aspen Education; and Holly Hunter, SafePassage Adolescent Services.
