The Annual NATWC Conference was one of the best ever. Attendees from across the globe converged in Jekyll Island to listen to Industry Leaders discuss the State of the Industry. Breakout sessions led by Jeff Holloway, Patrick Bartle, Tammy Robbins and others were well attended.

Four teams competed in the NATWC Challenge. Patrick Bartle, a one man team, ran away with the title crossing the finish line with more than a half mile lead over his nearest opponent.

Next years conference promises to be even better. Conference committee members are accepting comments and suggestions for the next conference in September 2009.

Since the 2008 conference is now over, I would love to hear comments about the conference. If you attended or heard about it, post your comments here! We are in the planning stages for the 2009 conference.

SafePassage Adolescent Services is proud to be a sponsor of this wonderful conference for another year. NATWC works hard to present wilderness camping training in a relaxed setting and Jekyll Island is a great place for this event. the opening night cookout is always great fun and proves to be a good time for attendees to get to know one another, network and play beach volleyball.

I look forward to meeting attendees from across the globe and attending the state of the industry symposium. Tell your friends and coworkers about the conference and come on down. It's not too late to register.

Hello! Is there anybody has that has an extra spot in their hotel room or anybody that would like to get one together (camping would work too). I will be coming to the conference on Sunday and leaving Wednesday to and from Sweden. I am presenting Swedish Wilderness Therapy on Monday and currently financing everything on my own. So, therefore, I am trying to limit my finances. I would greatly appreciate it!!!!! delmar_bart@hotmail.com

Thanks for working with us on the ad Tick. The more we learn about NATWC and the industry, the more we appreciate what your team and all of the volunteers are doing for families across the country. Your efforts will not go un-noticed.

Looks like an awesome line-up for the symposium. Again, thanks!
